faster and faster, we face the ever
growing need for a place to step aside for rest.
The Ark has a Hermitage that can accommodate 1 to 2 people looking for spiritual renewal, meditation, or quiet time.
It also has a Conference Center for small gatherings. While you are here, you will be the only ones on this quiet park like place. We are designed for events that want undistracted time away.
Located north of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, our hermitage includes a bed/sitting area, full bath, deck, kitchenette, and a private entrance. Bring what you need to eat. The kitchenette has a a microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, and dishes. Linens for bath and bed are also provided.
Our Conference Center has a large meeting room, full bath, kitchenette, and bedroom/office. You can walk out into the 7 acres of woods from the patio door. If your presenter needs overnight lodging, they can stay here as well. This space can accommodate up to 20 people for gatherings. Each space is air conditioned.
You may also want to schedule a time for a spiritual conversation. Connie is a retired hospital, hospice, prison chaplain, and is open to sharing time with those interested in spiritual conversation/exploration.
Rates for The Hermitage are $25.00/day
